Welcome to the new online home of the Third Widdifield Scout Group and the start of a new scouting year at our new physical home at Ecole Ste-Anne, 235 Albert St., just off O'Brien Street.
We are still accepting registration for new and returning youth during regular meetings, Mondays for Scouts, Tuesdays for Cubs, and Thursdays for Beavers. All meetings begin at 6:30 p.m.
Anyone interested in trying out Scouting for a week or two before making a decision, is also encouraged to come out.
For more information email Group Commissioner Ken Sitter.

Third Widdifield Scouts and Cubs supported their sponsor, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 23, recently by participating in Poppy Day at several area stores.
Beaver Section Leader Karen Deveau, better known to her colony as Rainbow, recently completed Woodbadge II for Colony at Woodland Trails in Stoffville, and earned her Gilwell Necker and beads.
Yeah Rainbow!
Third Widdifield Beavers, Cubs and Scouts did an outstanding job giving apples away on Apple Day, Saturday Oct. 3.
Thanks to their efforts distributing MacIntosh and Royal Gala apples at almost a dozen locations in our area of North Bay, we raised more than $1,150 to help fund camps and other activities.
Way to go!
Our Scout Troop recently returned from a weekend at Fort George near Niagara-on-the-Lake,where they joined the Scout Brigade re-enacting military life during the War of 1812.
